Sirocco Academy are excited to be hosting a unique 'Vintage Am Cab' workshop in Liverpool with U.S veteran bellydancer Saqra before she hits the Jewel of Yorkshire!

 

This is a rare opportunity to learn from someone who can really discuss vintage Am Cab and compare the differences between Am Cab and our more Egyptian focussed style.

 

Workshop description:

Vintage American Cabaret Dance 

​

A breakdown of the different segments of the dance and signature things that absolutely need to be included to represent the style. Movement exercises, steps, and technique with some of the elements more specific to AmCab than to any other style.

 

Study with Saqra: good at analysis and was there at just the right age to know both modern styles around the world and vintage cabaret first hand.
